The purpose of the assessment tool is to provide an online facility to collect and collate information on the impact of musculoskeletal conditions across the Member States.The tool enables the core dataset to be easily updated by authorised members of the EUMUSC.Net surveillance network.

A key objective of the EUMUSC.Net project is to provide supporting evidence that highlight the impact of Musculoskeletal Conditions in terms of health, social, employment and economic measures. It is hoped that national assessments completed by EUMUSC.Net will highlight those countries were the provision of care for musculoskeletal conditions is disproportionate to its prevalence and incidence.
